Gaza discovers narcotics in American-Israeli aid and calls for an international investigation http://reseauinternational.net/gaza-decouvre-...
Israel leads an organized criminal network.
"These pills were found during careful inspections of bags of humanitarian aid entering Gaza," says the statement, stressing that these substances were smuggled under the guise of humanitarian aid, while an offensive and a health crisis are raging.
"This is a deliberate attempt to dismantle society from within."
The Government's Media Office has held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the introduction of "toxic and narcotic substances" and called on international organizations to immediately investigate this orchestrated crime against a besieged civilian population. The Gaza authorities also issued a statement, calling on citizens to inspect all food products received from questionable help centers and to report any foreign or suspicious substances found in the packaging.
Israel admits to targeting civilians.
Haaretz reported on Friday that Israeli army officers and soldiers admitted to being directly ordered to open fire on Palestinians gathered near aid distribution centers. According to the report, the soldiers acknowledged that the Palestinians they targeted were unarmed and posed no threat. This information comes as the Gaza Ministry of Health has published its daily assessment, reporting 72 deaths and 174 injuries in the last 24 hours only. Many victims are still trapped under the rubble or lie on roads inaccessible to emergency and civil protection teams due to the intensity of Israeli bombing.
Since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinian deaths has been 56,331, with 132,632 injured. For March 18, 2025 alone, Gaza recorded 6008 dead and 20,591 wounded. The exploitation of the famine in Gaza constitutes a war crime, says the UN. According to the UN and the Gaza Ministry of Health, 549 people were killed and more than 4,066 were injured while trying to access food aid on June 25. With a death toll of more than 56,000 in Gaza, the delivery of aid remains dangerously hindered. The collapse of water supply systems now threatens to cause widespread drought and famine.
The UN Human Rights Office also warned on Tuesday that the exploitation of the distribution of food as a weapon to Gaza is a war crime. This statement comes as international criticism of the new model of distribution of humanitarian aid put in place by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), supported by Israel, is intensified.
Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, the spokesman for the UN human rights office, Thameen al-Kheetan, called the current system "militarized humanitarian aid from Israel", stressing its deadly consequences for civilians who desperately need help.
